I was born and raised in australia from british born parents but my grandparents were pure irish. I was raised in a typically irish way and despite my australian accent and scottish looks I identify with Love Pre-K St. Patrick’s Day Irish shirt. Because I was not born there nor had the chance to visit does that make me any less irish. Does citizenship of another country erase my bloods home.

I have dual citizenship with Ireland and australia because my grandparents on dad’s side moved over to australia to have their family of 9 children. My great grandparents on mum’s side moved over here to have Love Pre-K St. Patrick’s Day Irish shirt also. My upbringing was a hybrid of both cultures and although I’m not now religious I had a very irish-catholic style upbringing. I still have relatives living in Ireland and I’ve traveled more of Ireland than I have of australia. I feel as if my heart is in both countries.
