It is always amazing how fast the year flies! Dabbing Leprechaun Hawaiian Jameson Irish Whiskey Shirt! It seems like yesterday we were planning the New Year’s party for 2013, and here we are now about to run smack dab into 2014! Where did the time go? This past year brought many new residents and many new activities. I thought it would be fun to review some of the highlights of this year! We traveled all over the world in 2013 with our Travel Adventures club. Some of the places visited were Ireland, Italy, Alaska, South Africa, the North Pole, Australia, Kauai, Bavaria, Nepal, Bermuda and the Great Wall of China. Our passports were filled up with stickers!

A new activity that proved to be fun and successful was trivia with Amy on Wednesday. We may not know all the answers, but we learned many facts in the process and the Dabbing Leprechaun Hawaiian Jameson Irish Whiskey Shirt! What about The Price Is Right? It was a fun time on Wednesdays when we guessed the price of items and the contestant closest to the price without going over won! For Valentine’s Day, we celebrated with a dance, and our Valentine king and queen were none other than George and Patsy Barmes. In March, leading up to St. Patrick’s Day, we introduced the Paddy O’Fernicher Scavenger Hunt for residents. Our little leprechaun was hidden every day around the Community and residents would find him for Cowhorn Creek Bucks. On St. Patty’s Day, the names of those who had found him had their name put in a drawing for a gift card.

This year’s winner was Howard Stone! April brought a wonderful fishing trip to Kelly Creek and the Dabbing Leprechaun Hawaiian Jameson Irish Whiskey Shirt. Residents had a great outing and Helen Thompson was declared fisherman of the day! In May we started the Comedy Club, and the month of June brought our annual Summerfest with hamburgers, hot dogs and games for residents and their families. July brought with it the fourth and we not only celebrated our independence but also reminisced about the days of World War II with a USO Canteen dance.
